FINALLY! After several renames and many, many delays, the Caerlaverock scent is ready to go. The scent has so many links to the general area I just couldn’t resist pairing this one with the parish name.
The scent description is: Aromatic vintage cologne notes lead into a heart of rich sweet tobacco, warm spices and a hint of cognac. Smokey woods of oak, ebony and incense combine with dark musks to complete this fragrance.
Top Notes: Lemon, Lime, Mint, Cognac
Heart Notes: Jasmine, Iriswood, Clove, Vetivert
Base Notes: Oak, Incense, Tobacco, Musk.
A nod to the harbour where tobacco and alcohol was imported. Earthy musks and floral notes representing the beautiful landscape. This is a truly beautiful scent. I know the ‘T’ word was a bit controversial when Glencaple Quay was released but I promise you, it’s not a smokers candle. The tobacco notes creates an earthiness which really provides a fantastic balance.
I’m going to launch this scent on 12th June exclusively at Dumfries Market Festival. Come see us in Dumfries High Street and let us know what you think. You’ll find it live on the website after the market!
If you’ve been on our website you’ll notice some big changes have been made. The new photographs that Jayne Murdoch Brand Photography really inspired us to focus on our visual elements. There is still lots to do and the products will need to be changed individually which will take some time. I do hope you like the changes, let me know in the comments what you think of it so far.
